The Grand River Parks reservation system will reopen on March 3, 2020: The Grand River Parks reservation system (online and call centre) will open on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 9 a.m. to take reservations for the 2020 camping season.

Hillside Festival campers can book ‘regular’ nightly campsites online starting March 2 at 9 a.m. Full-weekend 'festival' site reservations for Hillside can be booked online or by visiting the Guelph Lake gatehouse, as of May 1, 2020.

Note: Users visiting prior to opening will see a pre-launch page indicating the time remaining for the reservation system to open. At 9 a.m. active users will randomly be assigned a place in a virtual queue which will show their spot in line. This 'lottery' approach to assigning a random spot gives everyone an equal chance at booking their favourite campsite. Visitors accessing the reservation system after 9 a.m. may be placed into the virtual queue on a First in, First out basis. While in the virtual queue, users will see their progress in line and estimated waiting time to enter the reservation system.

The online reservation system is available 24-hours a day from opening day through to mid-October. As well, a call centre is available for those who want to reserve a campsite by phone. The call centre, open from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday, can be reached toll-free at 1-877-558-GRCA (4722). Group site requests and facility rental inquiries can be made by calling the parks directly. For further assistance or general inquires please contact the Grand River Conservation Authority toll-free at 1-866-900-4722 or email us at
